Prayer of Peace for the World

Sometimes when I'm feeling out of sorts spiritually, mentally, and sometimes physically, and it's not influenced by anything immediate in my life (work, home, family, friends) I know it's time for me to say my prayer of peace for the world.

I may be more sensitive to feeling "out of sorts", because I am a highly sensitive person (empath), and can feel the negative energies that are out there in the world. It is then that I realize that I can be of help in my own quite way, and say a prayer of peace for the world. This is a short and simple way to extend healing to everyone in the world (including yourself), and by extending healing to everyone in the world, you are in fact, helping to heal yourself. We are all connected.

Begin by closing your eyes and taking 3 deep breaths.

See the earth in your minds eye, as if you are in space looking down on earth. Now begin to blanket the earth from the North Pole to the South Pole with God's healing white light, going around the earth in a counterclockwise motion.

While you are picturing this beautiful healing white light pouring down and around the earth say this:

Let God's healing light shine down upon earth.

May God's healing light touch every man, woman, child, animal, vegetable, mineral.

Let this healing light surround everything, and give hope, faith, love, joy, forgiveness, peace.

Every man, woman, child, animal, vegetable, mineral is touched by God's healing, loving, light just by breathing.

And by the simple act of breathing in this white healing light they are healed.

And so it is. Amen.
